Manager of Creative Services

SUMMARY:

Crazy Shirts’ mission is to create original and memorable artwork on quality products that take customers on the endless vacation in everyday life. The Manager of Creative Services will lead the in-house Creative Services team to develop compelling marketing materials to support Marketing, Advertising, and Sales objectives.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not necessarily limited to:
  • Project Management: Responsible for ensuring all creative needs are submitted through a request system, prioritize project cue based on team bandwidth and company objectives, assign development timelines and liaise with the requesting department to execute project.
  • Development of Brand Campaigns: Partner with marketing team to manage the development of all campaign collateral. Develop and gain alignment on creative briefs to achieve campaign goals. Oversee Visual Merchandising and provide creative and budgetary support to ensure retail stores have a consistent brand image throughout.
  • Communication: Establish clear processes that ensures all key stakeholders within each project are kept informed of progress and are notified of changes in a timely and efficient manner. See that the Creative Team receives all appropriate information and direction to ensure efficient and productive use of their time and effort. Work with Creative Team to develop the most effective method of presenting creative to key stakeholders and Sr. Management.
  • Follows Budget: Responsible for tracking and managing a pre-determined budget for photography, print, packaging and visual merchandising
  • General Duties: Assists with overall marketing department goal planning, strategy and strategic initiatives and calendar planning.
    • Provide a point of contact for internal customers.
      • Review job submissions to ensure information is complete
      • Report on progress of projects underway
      • Manage expectations (re: project duration and cost)
      • Liaise with outside services and contract providers
    • Administer and fully utilize a work flow program that will:
      • Schedule work
      • Measure work volume
      • Report on progress
      • Match resources to demand
      • Track approval and progress
    • Creative Services Budget Management:
      • Marketing and corporate print
      • Visual merchandise expenses and CAPEX
      • Photography, models, location expense
  • Creative Execution
    • Drive creative execution across all marketing vehicles, including but not limited to sales collateral, brochures, product spec sheets, power point presentations, videos, photography, event properties, advertisements, fliers, web promotions, email newsletters and website design.
    • Directly execute day-to-day creative tasks as needed.
    • Develop and build external relationships with agencies, vendors and contractors to support project and capacity needs of the team.
    • Evaluate and recommend external vendors; drive RFP’s; manage vendor creative efforts; manage workflows; oversee and facilitate design and production.
    • Expand photography and image library as needed, digital asset management system (DAM)
    • Oversee project development costs, develop and track project budgets.
  • Brand Management
    • Act as brand steward to ensure all visual communication efforts.
    • support the brand; direct creative projects to maintain brand consistency.
    • Maintain, enforce and enhance company brand guidelines as required.
    • Recommend and define creative direction across all platforms; articulate an integrated creative vision that drives effective execution.
    • Work with marketing, product marketing and sales to offer strong creative solutions that support business and program objectives.
    • Develop and implement a process to ensure effective archiving and management of all creative assets; maintain source files, image and graphic libraries; develop and employ file-naming conventions.
    • Ensure all projects are delivered on time and on budget
    • Assist department management in maintaining priorities and scheduling accordingly
    • Manage all project requests for Creative Services, serving as primary liaison to external departments. Manage Creative Services schedule, setting milestones and due dates for various stages of job completion for all project deliverables. Create production schedules, deadlines and resources.
    • Purchase & clear legal rights to creative elements, such as fonts, images, templates etc.
    • Work closely with legal to ensure creative is legally signed-off and contains the correct copyrights.
    • Manage day-to-day corporate needs such as:
      • Advertising
      • Logo Distribution
      • Corporate Pitch Materials
      • Merchandise
      • Catalogs
      • Brand books
      • Web design/email design

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or equivalent required
  • Must be computer savvy with proficiency with MS Word, Excel, MS PowerPoint, Outlook and various project management programs.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign a plus
  • Experience working directly with a Creative Team required
  • Strong project management, interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Highly effective at establishing relationships across all levels within an organization
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Budget management experience required
  • 3 + years of experience in a team focused creative environment in studio or agency, preferably in film entertainment
  • Experience in print management and print proofing preferred
  • Ability to professionally communicate and articulate creative requests
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Must have expert knowledge of the Creative Services Group roles, processes and products
  • Must have knowledge of both digital and traditional channels
  • Must be comfortable communicating with internal partners on the topic of work schedule and product deliverables
  • Must be resourceful, and a solution-oriented problem solver

QA/QC Supervisor

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not necessarily limited to:
  • Responsible for inspecting all products prior to receipt into any inventory to insure products meet defined quality standards.
  • Responsible for performing all testing requirements as determined to validate product quality.
  • Responsible for the timely reporting of all inspection results to all necessary organizations.
  • Responsible for the administration, reporting and product processing steps resulting in completing all inspections, work orders, tagging, labeling, folding, packaging, ASN and organizing for delivery specific destinations.
  • Responsible for maintaining company inventory integrity requirements physically and on respective systems within time constraints required to support continuous business operations.
  • Responsible for performance management and measurement, personnel training and development, and the disciplinary and dismissal processes of departmental personnel (in partnership with HR).
  • Responsible for maintaining a working supply of materials to support all processing.
  • Responsible for safe operational maintenance of all equipment and work areas in partnership with facilities maintenance management.
  • Responsible for actively participating in company sponsored events and functions, and contributing to the overall company goals as a member of management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Advanced education and supervisory experience in quantitative measuring and validation of quality standards for a product related industry.
  • Must be able to multi-task and follow-up when responses are needed

Customer Care Center Supervisor

SUMMARY:

Shift supervision of personnel operating the customer care service center of the company.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not necessarily limited to:
  • Work with the Direct to Consumer Operations Manager to ensure that all aspects of the Catalog store are operating smoothly and in the best interest of the Company, its employees and its customers.
  • Responsible for effectively leading and managing a team including Call Center Representatives and Customer Care Leads.

  • In partnership with Direct to Consumer Operations Manager, ensures appropriate staffing levels to meet customer service demands and makes decisions regarding the need to hire new employees, and increase or reduce payroll hours for existing employees.
  • Handles employee concerns, or complaints, by partnering with Human Resources to determine resolutions, or if applicable, disciplinary or corrective actions.
  • Maintain company standards and hold staff accountable for providing quality customer service and achieving store/company goals.
  • Plans and executes motivational programs that include incentives, contests, and team performance programs.
  • Ensures that all operational and productivity standards are being met based upon best industry standards for call center and fulfillment operations.
    • Utilizes ACD and other internal systems to monitor standards
    • Ensures email communications from customers are being answered within 2-3 hour standard during open hours

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2-4 years call center experience, preferably in the retail arena and or previous management experience required
  • Basic Mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven motivational skills along with a solid decision making ability and critical thinking skills.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Power Point)

The Machine loader/unloader supports this mission through the proper loading/unloading of shirts onto/from the automated printer and by visually inspecting all printed merchandise to ensure quality consistency.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not necessarily limited to:
  • Load/unload shirts onto/from the automated printing press.
  • Inspect shirts that come off the dryer to ensure first quality printing.
  • Assist the screen operator in setting up and breaking down the press: screens, squeegees, inks, and strike offs.
  • Assist in the general cleaning of print area and supplies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Package, tag and consolidate orders in a safe and accurate manner to insure orders arrive at destination in resalable condition.
